CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC – Can CAR’s President Touadera unite the country? (Al Jazeera)

The Central African Republic President Faustin-Archange Touadera has been re-elected for another five-year term.

However, his opponents say the December 27 vote was flawed.

Many polling stations did not open and rebels allied with former President Francois Bozize reportedly threatened voters.

So what are the hopes for stability and peace after nearly eight years of civil unrest in the country?
