(China/Wuhan) One-year lockdown: Wuhan economic rebound far beats expectations (Global Times)

If China’s economic growth by 2.3 percent last year in spite of the headwinds of COVID-19 can be considered a silver lining to virus-dragged global economy, then the country’s central city of Wuhan, the first city that experienced an unprecedented lockdown at the beginning of 2020 after epidemic outbreak, hit hardest by the virus but has returned to its vigor, could serve as a perfect model for other Chinese cities and the world to emerge from the health crisis in even stronger condition.
