For a ‘cooperative competition’ between the US and China

An analysis published by East Asia Forum underlines the need for an American approach to China in terms of what we have called ‘competitive cooperation’.

China is a strategic competitor and not an enemy. What is clear, in Asia as elsewhere, is that the power of the Dragon – in the interrelationship we experience – must find satisfaction and limits in a new framework of government of planetary processes: what we call ‘glocalisation’.
