(Al Arabiya) Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi said that although Iran has reached an understanding with Oman on arrangements for passage through the Strait of Hormuz, the waterway will remain closed until the US fulfills its commitments, Tasnim news agency reported on Sunday. “Iran has reached an understanding with Oman regarding arrangements for passage through the Strait of Hormuz, but this understanding will not automatically enter the implementation phase,” the agency quoted Gharibabadi as saying on Saturday.
