Spain moves closer to hosting one of Europe’s first AI gigafactories

(DigWatch) Spain has taken another significant step in its effort to become a leading European hub for AI and advanced computing infrastructure. The Council of Ministers has approved a €300 million voluntary contribution to the European High Performance Computing Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC), the body responsible for supporting Europe’s AI factories and the future development of AI gigafactories.
