La resurrezione del limite è condizione per la costruzione di futuri.
Un mondo nel quale l’insostenibilità è evidenza storica e l’imprevedibilità regna (non come visione né come strategia ma come tattica) è profondamente disequilibrato, cerca separazioni e alza barriere. E’ mondo a-politico.
Ripensare per re-istituire la cultura del limite è passaggio obbligato per una politica che si riappropri della realtà e rinasca in essa. Limite è mediazione di sé nell’inevitabile vincolo planetario che ci lega. Limite, dunque, è anzitutto ascolto della nostra parte razionale, ego che pensa: invece, ciò che vediamo ogni giorno, con intensità variabile, è lo scatenamento della primordialità che comunque ci appartiene.
Nel terzo millennio, mai come prima profondamente tecnologizzato, il senso e la pratica del limite sono parte indispensabile di un metodo umano sostenibile. Essere ultra-moderni non è garanzia di umanità e, dunque, non produce pace, giustizia e sicurezza in automatico. Anzi, ciò che accade è esattamente il contrario: è in atto una radicalizzazione difensiva di un mondo già finito mentre molti (tra essi, la grande maggioranza delle classi dirigenti) non hanno (e non vogliono avere) i paradigmi adeguati per immaginare e costruire il mondo che verrà e che, per molti aspetti, è già tra noi. Radicalizzazione avviene nella condizione ‘onlife’, laddove siamo immersi, primitivi nel pensare ancora la separazione tra online e offline.
La cultura del limite è paradigma strategico ed è fondamentale nel tempo della nuova ondata tecnologica. Limite è antidoto alla tentazione del super-uomo (che si vorrebbe perfetto come Dio anziché meravigliosamente imperfetto, com’è stato creato) passando dall’apertura delle identità (mondo meticcio nel destino planetario) e dalla relativizzazione della verità come percorso comune di vita nella dinamica realtà-della-realtà e non come dogma imposto da alcuni a detrimento di moltissimi altri.
Oltre che condizione per la costruzione di futuri, la cultura del limite è principio di realismo nella complessità di chi diventiamo nel destino planetario.

The resurrection of limits is a prerequisite for building futures.
A world in which unsustainability is a historical fact and unpredictability reigns (not as a vision or a strategy but as a tactic) is profoundly unbalanced; it seeks divisions and erects barriers. It is an apolitical world.
Rethinking in order to re-establish the culture of limits is a necessary step for a politics that reclaims reality and is reborn within it. Limits are a means of self-mediation within the inevitable planetary bond that unites us. Limits, therefore, are first and foremost a listening to our rational side, the thinking ego: what we see every day, with varying intensity, is the unleashing of the primal nature that nonetheless belongs to us.
In the third millennium, more deeply technologised than ever before, the meaning and practice of limits are an indispensable part of a sustainable human approach. Being ultra-modern is no guarantee of humanity and, therefore, does not automatically produce peace, justice and security. On the contrary, what is happening is exactly the opposite: a defensive radicalisation of a world that has come to an end is underway, whilst many (including the vast majority of the ruling classes) do not have (and do not wish to have) the appropriate paradigms to imagine and build the world to come, which, in many aspects, is already among us. Radicalisation occurs in the ‘onlife’ condition, in which we are immersed, still thinking primitively in terms of the separation between online and offline.
The culture of limits is a strategic paradigm and is fundamental in the era of the new technological wave. Limits are an antidote to the temptation of the superman (who would wish to be perfect like God rather than wonderfully imperfect, as he was created), moving from the openness of identities (a mixed-race world within the planetary destiny) and the relativisation of truth as a shared path of life within the dynamic reality-of-reality, rather than as a dogma imposed by some to the detriment of many others.
As well as being a prerequisite for building futures, the culture of limits is a principle of realism within the complexity of who we becoming in our shared plantary destiny.
