Americans are sharply divided over the legitimacy of the 2020 election. Nearly all Democrats (98 percent) and roughly three-quarters (73 percent) of independents believe Joe Biden’s 2020 election victory was legitimate. Less than one-third (32 percent) of Republicans say the same.
