Government spokesman said that President Ebrahim Raisi’s recent trip to Russia was in line with his administration’s policy of balanced development of international relations and that people would soon see its results.
Ali Bahadori Jahromi said in a press conference on Tuesday that President Raisi headed a high-profile delegation to Russia last week in line with the policy of balanced development of relations with other countries and diversification in foreign policy with prioritizing neighboring countries.
He said that conditions were not appropriate for the visit due to the situation with the coronavirus spread in Russia, but the trip was done under mutual respect-based health protocols to prevent a delay in achieving the goals and results.
