While President Ebrahim Raisi administration’s reviewing of the Vienna nuclear talks is nearing its final phase, the US and European signatories to the 2015 Iran nuclear deal have not taken tangible steps to secure Iranians’ interests.

Following the United States’ unilateral withdrawal from the nuclear deal, also known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), in 2018 and re-imposition of anti-Iran sanctions, the international accord was violated by the West; and the Islamic Republic once more witnessed noncompliance by the Western powers in the history of relations between Iran and the West.
