VIF writes: BIMSTEC connects two regions-South Asia and Southeast Asia. It was created to fill the gaps left by the dysfunctionality of SAARC. In the current geopolitics, it is important for it to be functional and institutionalised. Dr. Sreeradha Datta has taken the initiative from the VIF, to edit a book on “BIMSTEC: The journey and the way forward” with the contributions of 23 scholars and experts. Join Amb Shambhu Ram Simkhada and Cchavi Vasisht to discuss the institutional aspect of BIMSTEC and how regional cooperation can be enhanced in the current geopolitics and the post-pandemic world.
