Three Syrian security forces killed in clash with suspected extremists in south

Syrian security forces announced the death of three members on Thursday in clashes as they attempted to arrest a fugitive, who a government source told AFP is a member of ISIS.

The clash took place in the Daraa province, in Al-Sanamein, where security forces said they had imposed a curfew and were searching for other people involved in the incident.

“Three members of the internal security forces were killed and several others wounded during an operation aimed at arresting a wanted individual in the town of Al-Sanamein,” the forces said in a statement.
