(Reuters/Al Arabiya) Israel’s parliament is expected on Monday to vote on a bill that would make the death penalty a default sentence for Palestinians convicted in military court of killing Israelis, a measure that Israel’s European allies say would unfairly target Palestinians under military occupation. The measure includes provisions requiring sentencing within 90 days with no right to clemency.
