Iran condemns the UN after vote calling for an end to attacks in the Gulf

Iranian Ambassador to the UN Amir Saeid Iravani described the Security Council resolution calling for an immediate end to Tehran’s attacks on Gulf states as politically motivated. He said today’s resolution represents an abuse of the Security Council’s mandate in pursuing the political objectives of certain members, the countries responsible for the brutal war of aggression against Iran.
