Saudi Arabia successfully intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile launched by the Houthis toward the capital Riyadh at dawn on Saturday, the official Spokesperson of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen Major General Turki al-Malki said in a statement.
“The escalation by the Terrorist Houthi Militia and its continued attempts to target civilians and civilian objects in the capital, Riyadh, a city inhabited by over eight million citizens and residents, demonstrate the Militia’s intransigence and its persistent, deliberate, and systematic targeting of civilians and civilian objects, reflecting hostile and terrorist behavior,” al-Malki said in a statement issued late Saturday night.
