VP stresses reinforcing Iran-Cuba ties against US sanctions (IRNA)

Iran’s Vice President for Economic Affairs Mohsen Rezaie in a meeting with top Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel stressed strengthening bilateral relations against US sanctions.

Rezaie has attended the Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega inauguration ceremony on behalf of the Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi.

According to Cuban Foreign Ministry website, President Díaz-Canel conveyed his greeting to Iranian president and the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

Both sides hailed bilateral political relations and took advantage of the opportunity for developing economic and trade relations and joint cooperation in health and pharmaceutical industry.

They underlined friendly relations between Tehran and Havana against US sanctions.
