Software company Palantir boldly stated in paperwork filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission last year that it wants to be the “central operating system for all U.S. defense programs.”. That’s an ambitious goal, to say the least. But with the Pentagon squarely focused on implementing its future war-fighting vision of Joint All-Domain Command and Control — which includes connecting sensors to any shooter with integrated data and artificial intelligence processing — Palantir feels perfectly positioned to do just that.
