Towards Net-Zero Emissions Policy priorities for deployment of low-carbon emitting technologies in the chemical industry (WEF)

How can the chemical industry transition towards net-zero emissions?

The members of the Collaborative Innovation for Low-Carbon Emitting Technologies initiative (LCET) identified key policy priorities to enable the development and upscaling of low-carbon technologies in the chemical sector and related value chains. The five overarching policy areas identified aim to translate technological needs into enabling policy frameworks for industry transformation towards climate neutrality and, therefore, inform future key climate policies in the European Union and foster public-private collaboration.
