Romanian man arrested in UK on suspicion of aiding Russian sabotage campaign (Alexander Martin, The Record)

British police on Wednesday announced that a 38-year-old Romanian man has been arrested on suspicion of assisting a foreign intelligence service. The man, whose name has not been released, was identified as part of an investigation into a fire at a DHL warehouse in Birmingham. He was arrested on March 19 after arriving at Stansted Airport, according to London’s Metropolitan Police, under a section of the National Security Act 2023 that targets individuals who attempt to assist foreign intelligence services.
