Rob Jetten is sworn in as youngest Dutch prime ministerRob

(Sonja Rijnen – Politico) Rob Jetten was sworn in as the youngest prime minister of the Netherlands on Monday but the 38-year-old centrist will face an immediate battle to push through his agenda via the country’s first minority government in decades. With far-right parties topping polls in France and Germany, Jetten’s victory in October came as a relief in Brussels as he is pledging to steer the EU’s fifth biggest economy in a resolutely pro-European direction. Jetten takes office 117 days after last year’s general election and is also the first openly gay Dutch leader. – Rob Jetten is sworn in as youngest Dutch prime minister – POLITICO
