(DigWatch) India has unveiled the New Delhi Frontier AI Impact Commitments, a new initiative aimed at promoting inclusive and responsible AI, particularly across the Global South. The announcement was made by Union Minister for Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw at the opening of the India AI Impact Summit 2026. Vaishnaw described India’s AI strategy as focused on democratisation, scale, and technological sovereignty.
