The German government has denied claims by the chair of the Bundestag’s intelligence committee that the country’s recent federal election was “successfully manipulated” by foreign actors. Konstantin von Notz, a member of the Green Party, told the Financial Times newspaper on Friday that Germans had “to recognise that our elections are already being manipulated — and successfully manipulated.”
