Senza cedere all’antagonismo e al pessimismo, ciò che serve è pensiero critico. Libero e complesso, il pensiero critico respira la storia, non si lascia travolgere e cerca comprensioni sempre nuove, ricongiungendo ciò che è disperso.
Come base di riflessione, con approccio aperto, proponiamo il pensiero di alcuni grandi intellettuali visionari che hanno tracciato e continuano a tracciare vie nuove: Hannah Arendt, Raimon Panikkar, Edgar Morin, Mauro Ceruti. L’intellettuale è una figura che cerca di schiudere nuovi scenari, che non si arrende all’imminenza, che comprende la complessità del reale nella sua inseparabilità: se ogni parte comprende il tutto, il tutto supera le parti non essendo sommatoria delle stesse.
Oggi più che mai abbiamo bisogno di testimoni della complessità. Servono intellettuali in grado di mostrare i rischi, le minacce e le opportunità insiti nella trasformazione/passaggio che stiamo vivendo. Servono figure capaci di rendere la complessità alimento per strumenti di analisi nel profondo delle dinamiche che attraversano la realtà: ciò che accade in ogni particolare zona del mondo ha un respiro globale e contribuisce a far evolvere e/o involvere la sostenibilità sistemica. Altresì, la realtà vive nelle contraddizioni e negli errori che generiamo. Ancora, le differenze che ci costituiscono come umanità pongono sfide continue alla costruzione dinamica del destino planetario nella Terra.-Patria. Nel tempo della separazione dominante il dialogo non è una scelta ma è l’unica strada possibile.
Una cattedra di pensiero complesso è il contributo di The Global Eye a una visione storica innovativa e in grado di percorrere l’oltre che è già qui: ancora non lo vediamo ma c’è, dentro di noi e nella realtà. Scrivere di trasformazione nel passaggio di era significa superare la logica semplicistica del cambiamento: perché è la natura dei processi a trasformarsi, a cominciare dal potere. Tempi nuovi chiedono occhi nuovi.

Without giving in to antagonism and pessimism, what is needed is critical thinking. Free and complex, critical thinking breathes history, does not allow itself to be overwhelmed and seeks ever new understandings, reconnecting what is scattered.
As a basis for reflection, with an open approach, we propose the thinking of some great visionary intellectuals who have traced and continue to trace new paths: Hannah Arendt, Raimon Panikkar, Edgar Morin, Mauro Ceruti. The intellectual is a figure who seeks to open up new scenarios, who does not surrender to imminence, who understands the complexity of reality in its inseparability: if each part comprises the whole, the whole surpasses the parts by not being the sum of them.
Today more than ever, we need witnesses to complexity. We need intellectuals who can show the risks, threats and opportunities inherent in the transformation/transition we are experiencing. We need figures capable of turning complexity into fuel for tools of analysis that delve deep into the dynamics that permeate reality: what happens in every particular area of the world has a global impact and contributes to the evolution and/or involution of systemic sustainability. Moreover, reality lives in the contradictions and errors we generate. Furthermore, the differences that constitute us as humanity pose constant challenges to the dynamic construction of our planetary destiny on Earth-Homeland. In this time of prevailing separation, dialogue is not a choice but the only possible path.
A chair of complex thought is The Global Eye’s contribution to an innovative historical vision capable of travelling beyond what is already here: we cannot see it yet, but it is here, within us and in reality. Writing about transformation in the transition of an era means overcoming the simplistic logic of change: because it is the nature of processes that transforms itself, starting with power. New times call for new eyes.

Sans céder à l’antagonisme et au pessimisme, ce qu’il faut, c’est une pensée critique. Libre et complexe, la pensée critique respire l’histoire, ne se laisse pas submerger et cherche sans cesse de nouvelles compréhensions, en réunissant ce qui est dispersé.
Comme base de réflexion, avec une approche ouverte, nous proposons la pensée de quelques grands intellectuels visionnaires qui ont tracé et continuent de tracer de nouvelles voies : Hannah Arendt, Raimon Panikkar, Edgar Morin, Mauro Ceruti. L’intellectuel est une figure qui cherche à ouvrir de nouveaux horizons, qui ne cède pas à l’imminence, qui comprend la complexité du réel dans son indissociabilité : si chaque partie comprend le tout, le tout dépasse les parties en n’étant pas leur somme.
Aujourd’hui plus que jamais, nous avons besoin de témoins de la complexité. Nous avons besoin d’intellectuels capables de montrer les risques, les menaces et les opportunités inhérents à la transformation/transition que nous vivons. Nous avons besoin de figures capables de transformer la complexité en outils d’analyse approfondie des dynamiques qui traversent la réalité : ce qui se passe dans chaque région particulière du monde a une portée mondiale et contribue à faire évoluer et/ou régresser la durabilité systémique. De même, la réalité vit dans les contradictions et les erreurs que nous générons. De plus, les différences qui nous constituent en tant qu’humanité posent des défis constants à la construction dynamique du destin planétaire sur Terre-Patrie. À l’époque de la séparation dominante, le dialogue n’est pas un choix, mais la seule voie possible.
Une chaire de pensée complexe est la contribution de The Global Eye à une vision historique innovante et capable de parcourir l’au-delà qui est déjà là : nous ne le voyons pas encore, mais il est là, en nous et dans la réalité. Écrire sur la transformation dans le passage d’une époque à l’autre signifie dépasser la logique simpliste du changement : car c’est la nature des processus qui se transforme, à commencer par le pouvoir. Les temps nouveaux exigent un regard neuf.
