Italian partnership plans €1 billion network of 13 data centres

Core Stack, Lazzari Group’s digital infrastructure business and Green Arrow Capital, an independent financial manager active in private markets and alternative investments, announced plans on 7 October 2026 to invest more than €1 billion over four years in 13 medium sized data centres across Italy. The partnership aims to strengthen the country’s digital capacity.

The first two facilities are planned near Cremona and Verona, where permit applications are at an advanced stage. The companies expect construction permits by the end of 2027 and operations to begin in the first quarter of 2028. Following initial developments in northern Italy, the programme will give particular attention to central and southern regions.
