CENTCOM tells Al Arabiya it has destroyed Iran’s military capabilities

(Al Arabiya) The US Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed that it is enforcing a blockade on Iran because Tehran has used the Strait of Hormuz as a weapon to threaten freedom of navigation, adding that US forces are prepared for any contingency plan that may be required in the region. CENTCOM spokesman Capt. Tim Hawkins said in an exclusive interview with Al Arabiya that US forces have redirected the course of more than 80 ships since the blockade on Iran began, stressing that Washington was closely monitoring everything the Iranians are trying to bring in or take out.
