New legislation that could impose major costs on Moscow’s trading partners cleared the US Senate today, at a time when the Russian economy is teetering and Ukraine is increasingly striking behind Russian lines. The 86-11 vote sends the bill, which has President Donald Trump’s blessing, to the US House. We turned to our experts to break down what exactly the act would accomplish and its prospects of becoming law.
