(DigWatch) Spain’s Minister for Digital Transformation and Public Function, Óscar López, said that AI regulation strengthens competitiveness rather than discouraging investment. Speaking at the Foro Talento España event organised by TRIVU, he argued that trust is becoming a key factor in the development and adoption of AI. López pointed to OpenAI’s decision to open its first office in Spain as evidence that AI regulation can coexist with innovation and investment.
