Lebanon, 634 dead and over 800,000 displaced by the Israel-Hezbollah war

Lebanon announced today that the death toll from 10 days of fighting between Israel and Hezbollah during the war in the Middle East has reached 634, while over 800,000 people have been registered as displaced. The update was provided by Health Minister Rakan Nassereddine, who added during a press conference that the death toll includes 91 children, while over 1,500 people have been injured. Social Affairs Minister Haneen Sayed then stated that the number of displaced persons who have registered their names on a website affiliated with the ministry has reached approximately 816,000, of whom about 126,000 are housed in collective shelters.
