New Supreme Leader in Iran. Work in progress

A majority consensus on the succession of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, ‘has more or less been reached,’ announced Ayatollah Mohammadmehdi Mirbaqeri, a member of the Assembly of Experts, according to Mehr. Ayatollah Mohsen Heidari Alekasir, another member of the Assembly, said that a candidate had been chosen on the basis of the advice of the late supreme leader, that the Iranian leader should ‘be hated by the enemy’.
