The wave of protests that broke out in the Islamic Republic this past September has ebbed somewhat, and at present there seems little threat to the regime. However, this does not mean that the regime of the ayatollahs can rest easy – revolutionary winds continue to blow, and without changes, the gaps between the regime and the civilian population will continue to widen.
