But it’s worth taking a closer look at a bold step by the transatlantic allies that will shape the future of global cyber diplomacy and defense. On July 1, the US National Security Agency (NSA), Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, and Federal Bureau of Investigation, along with the United Kingdom’s National Cyber Security Centre, issued a joint cybersecurity advisory on the Russian military intelligence agency, the GRU, hacking cloud environments worldwide.
