Shenzhen in South China’s Guangdong Province is set to implement new regulations aiming to protect personal big data from illegal use by mobile apps starting from January 1, 2022, which was the country’s first comprehensive effort to address the growing importance of big data, Shenzhen Special Zone Daily reported on Tuesday.
